This notice explains what AFFGAM processes when people browse jobs, apply for a role, create a company page or manage hiring.
Who is responsible
AFFGAM operates the platform and is responsible for account, security and service data. Employers are responsible for the recruitment decisions they make using an application. Contact us at [email protected].
Information we process
- Account email addresses and authentication records.
- Company profiles, job postings and saved posting drafts.
- Applicant names, email addresses, CVs and optional notes.
- Hiring stages, interview times and employer-private notes.
- Optional consent to hear about other relevant roles.
- Limited technical and security information needed to prevent abuse.
Why we use it
We process data to provide accounts, publish vacancies, deliver applications to the correct employer, operate the hiring workflow, secure the service and respond to support requests. Talent-pool contact is based on the candidate’s optional consent.
Legal bases
Depending on the interaction, we process information to provide the service you request, for legitimate interests in operating and securing AFFGAM, to meet legal obligations, and with consent for the optional talent pool. Consent can be withdrawn at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Who can see an application
An employer can see only applications submitted to vacancies owned by that employer. AFFGAM’s authorised owner account can access platform-wide data for support, safety and service operation. CVs are private and opened through short-lived access links.
Service providers
We use infrastructure and delivery providers such as Supabase for database, authentication and private file storage, Vercel for web hosting, and Resend where transactional email is configured. They process data only to provide those services to AFFGAM.
Retention and your choices
Recruitment data is kept only while it is needed for the hiring process, platform operation, dispute handling or legal obligations. Talent-pool use ends when consent is withdrawn. You can request a copy, correction, deletion, restriction or withdrawal of consent by emailing [email protected].
We use retention periods and review criteria based on the active hiring process, account operation, security needs, dispute handling and any legal record-keeping duties. Deletion requests may therefore be limited where information must be retained or another lawful basis applies.
International processing and complaints
Service providers may process information in countries outside the user’s own. Where required, AFFGAM uses appropriate contractual or legal safeguards. You may contact us first with a concern and may also complain to the data-protection authority available to you.
Cookies and local storage
AFFGAM currently uses only storage required for authentication, theme preference and unfinished drafts. Non-essential analytics are not currently enabled. This notice will be updated before any such tools are introduced.
