Trust & safety
Apply with your guard up.
Most hiring conversations are genuine. A few are not. These simple checks help you spot unusual requests before sharing money or sensitive information.
Never pay to get a job
A genuine vacancy does not require an application fee, a crypto transfer, gift cards, or money sent for equipment or training. AFFGAM does not charge candidates to apply.
Verify the person contacting you
Check the sender’s domain, the company’s public website and an independent company channel. Treat rushed offers, interviews conducted only through private messaging, and requests to receive or forward money as warning signs.
Keep sensitive information private
- Never share passwords, one-time codes or card details.
- Do not send banking or identity documents before you have independently verified the employer and understand why they are needed.
- Do not install unknown software or open unexpected files sent by a recruiter.
Something feels wrong?
Send us the vacancy link and a short explanation. Do not email passwords, banking details or identity documents. We can review, pause or remove a listing, but immediate danger or financial loss should also be reported to the relevant local authority.
AFFGAM’s role
AFFGAM provides listings and hiring workflow tools. Employers supply their own content and make their own hiring decisions. We may perform checks, but we cannot guarantee every claim, identity, vacancy or off-platform communication. Candidates and employers should carry out their own checks.
